 1位 285票 Watashi @ Jintai
 2位 153票 Misawa Maho @ Ro-Kyu-Bu

 1位 280票 Miki Sayaka @ Madoka
 2位 183票 Chitanda Eru @ Hyouka

The Madoka faction continued their rampage as Sayaka easily stomped Eru to make it 3 Block Final wins for them. Watashi also had a comfortable run out, becoming the only newcomer from this year’s entrants to win a Block Final. Her win means Nodoka’s out of the tournament, unable to increase her total wins and appearance tally to break the current records. There’s always next year though for the Saki ace.

So Saimoe takes a two-day break, with the draw for repechage taking place tomorrow. When we return we’ll witness the start of the much talked about repechage round which has been introduced this year.

Just to recap and a brief look at the repechage round:

The current series representation in the True Final 16 –
Madoka – 3
Oreimo – 2
Ro-Kyu-Bu, Haganai, Jintai – 1

Amongst the current 8, half of them have previously won a Block Final, all in 2011.

Repechage (Round 1) Entrants

Round 1 losers:
Toujou Koneko – Highschool DxD
Futaba Aoi – Vividred
Akaza Akane – Yuru Yuri
Oohashi Awai – Saki
Katyusha – Girls Und Panzer
Shijou Takane – im@s
Miura Azusa – im@s
Kousaka Kirino – Oreimo
Minami Haruka – Minami-ke

Round 2 losers:
Mikazuki Yozora – Haganai
Fukuji Mihoko – Saki
Kaname Madoka – Madoka
Toshinou Kyouko – Yuru Yuri
Kazari Uiharu – Raildex
Sasaki Chiho – Maou-sama
Himenokouji Akiko – Oniai
Miyanaga Teru – Saki

Looking at the list, the only ones amongst the Round 1 losers that seem capable of winning their matches against the Round 2 losers are Kirino and perhaps Awai, who could possibly face off against Teru if the draw is rigged.

Amongst the Round 2 losers, Madoka is probably the most capable of going all the way in the repechage round. Kyouko and perhaps Yozora could fancy their chances too against the Round 3 and Block Final losers if the luck of the draw goes their way.

Round 3 losers:
Matsumi Yuu – Saki
Takanashi Rikka – Chu2Koi
Hanada Kirame – Saki
Sagimori Arata – Saki
Oomuro Sakurako – Yuru Yuri
Tsutsukakushi Tsukiko – Henneko
Okita Sawa – Tari Tari
Shirai Kuroko – Raildex

Block Final losers:
Onjouji Toki – Saki
Nishizumi Miho – Garupan
Azuki Azusa – Henneko
Shimizudani Ryuuka – Saki
Yoshino – Date A Live
Misawa Maho – Ro-Kyu-Bu
Akaza Akari – Yuru Yuri
Chitanda Eru – Hyouka

  1. Shouldn’t have doubted Watashi. I thought her numbers were dropping and that Ro-Kyu-Bu! was looking pretty good + backing from Nodoka would be enough but that was just pathetic. Or rather this tournament is just dead.
