It’s not Hina’s year again.

Watashi and Biri Biri emerged victorious in their much hyped matches, but they wouldn’t probably believe how easy it actually turned out to be, with none of their competitors even coming close. Especially impressed with Watashi, garnering the 2nd highest vote total of the main round so far (behind Ryuuka) and considering the difference in class of opponents they faced, it makes Watashi’s accomplishment much more greater. Will it turn out to be a fairytale ending for Watashi in the near future? We’ll see. As for Biri Biri, it was a good win to silence her critics – the key for her now is consistency as she’ll be facing some tricky opponents as she attempts to make her way to the Block F Finals.

Meanwhile, Ro-Kyu-Bu had mixed fortunes, with Maho edging out Hina but Saki falling to Mikan, meaning that the latter preserves her record of reaching at least the second round for yet another year.

Himenokouji Akiko

Kikuchi Makoto

Out of these three contestants, Akiko’s the best performer in the prelims, but there will be combo voting for SAO and im@s today. For Silica, this is her second time getting assistance from Suguha, having being in the same group in the prelims. I suspect it’ll go down to Akiko and Silica, and I’m leaning with Akiko just because of MC and imouto power.

Tsukuyomi Komoe
Amakusa Shino
Hanekawa Tsubasa

A walk in the park for Hanekawa. No contest here.

Haramura Nodoka

Poor Yuno gets the short end of the stick again in the main round draw for the second year running, having to encounter three-time semi-finalist Nodoka and split voting here too. Of course, there’s always a chance for Yuno – Saki was not as formidable as they were last year, Hiro will likely be sacrificed for Yuno, and there’s the possibility of tactical voting here by Biri Biri supporters. However, as we know from previous years, Railgun supporters are not really active in doing that, and this is Nodoka we’re talking about – the most consistent ace Saki has in the competition. She’ll probably find a way yet again.

Shiina Mashiro
Otonashi Kotori
Kirigaya Suguha

Mashiro failed to convince during the prelims, while Suguha did decent. Going with the latter here based on that fact and the SAO combo votes.

I certainly didn’t expect Watashi to end up with such a huge lead. She’s a strong force in group F. If she or Biribiri beats Nodoka does that mean they will win it this year?
Welp I will still bet my money on Nodoka taking this group.

Where is fru? Does he know Hina lost again?

And that is a pathetic amount of votes for Nagi.

    And go Mikan!

    It’s never Hina’s year.

Yeah, the Hayatas are going out with a whimper, not a bang.

As for fru, he had an urgent matter to attend to, though it’s been a week now since he MIA’d. Might have to come up with a missing person poster soon 🙂
