Fantasy: Phase III Quarter Finals

saimoe fantasy

It’s time for the final phase of fantasy. Top spot might seem distant to you, but don’t fret, it’s still a possibility! Even if you’re unable to win it all, there’s the title of Phase III winner to aim for!

Deadline for changes to Ika vs Mami: 31 October 12.59AM GMT+9

Those who do not meet the initial submission deadline will still be able to participate, but you will be unable to select a captain and will not be able to place predictions on an ongoing match.

The system will be slightly different this time round. It’s a fresh start, so you’ll be able to participate regardless of the results of the previous Fantasy rounds. You will pick a character whom you think will win in each match. Your choices for the quarter finals won’t carry over to the next round, meaning that you’ll be able to guess the winner of semi-final and final matches even if your character exits in the quarter finals.

You will also be allowed to select ONE captain. However, this choice will be PERMANENT – you will not be allowed to change captaincy at any point in Phase III.

Winner: 5 points
Captain multiplier: X2

Now to add in something new…

Aside from predicting the winner of each match, you’ll also predict the percentage of votes received by the winner to 2 decimal places (which will be in the range of 50.00%~65.00%, but the lowest you can go is 51% and the highest…100% if you wish to do so) If the result falls within 1% of your prediction, you’ll get a bonus 5 3 points.

Sounds confusing? Here’s an example. Do take note that this is JUST AN EXAMPLE – it’s not reflective of my actual choices and I don’t mean to offend anyone’s waifu.

Template for submission

Deadline: 28 October 12.55AM GMT+9 (5 minutes before the beginning of Lotte vs Erica)
Those who do not meet the deadline will still be able to participate, but you will be unable to select a captain and will not be able to place predictions on an ongoing match.

Since we’re tight for time, you will also be allowed to make changes prior to a match, except for the choice of the captain. Deadline for amendments: 1 minute before the beginning of the match.

  1. In case I can pick anyone on QF outside my picks on previous rounds, here is my list:

    User: abc0716
    Captain: Ika-musume

QF1: Erica, by 53.70% of vote
QF2: Kuroneko, by 55.87% of vote
QF3: Madoka, by 52.30% of vote
    QF4: Ika-musume, by 54.68% of vote

  2. User: loudmouth
    Captain: Madoka

    Match 1: Lotte 55.56%
    Match 2: Kuroneko 54.42%
    Match 3: Madoka 56.83%
    Match 4: Mami 51.04%

  3. User: Sphire
Captain: Kyouko (That’s right, it’s risk taking time! Plus, might as well back a girl I like, even if that is usually detrimental…)

    QF1: Lotte; 55.50%
    QF2: Kyouko; 51.20%
    QF3: Madoka; 58.50%
    QF4: Mami; 57.10%

So…we can change our win percentage prediction before each match yea? Would come in handy if we get more voters turning up for this stage.

    Captain: Mami

QF1: Lotte, by 55.20% of vote

    Captain: Madoka

QF1: Lotte, by 54.50% of the vote
QF2: Kyouko, by 51.50% of the vote
QF3: Madoka, by 57.25% of the vote

  6. User: ahelo
    Captain: Madoka

QF1: Lotte by 55% of the vote
QF2: Kuroneko by 50.5% of the vote
QF3: Madoka by 67% of the vote
QF4: Ika by 50.5% of the vote

      1. I’ll be rounding up your Match 2 and 4’s percentages to 51% since only winners qualify for the bonus points. (So that your range will be 50%-52% instead of 49.5%-51.5%)

  7. User: MadPanda
    Captain: Madoka

    QF1: Lotte – 57%
    QF2: Kuroneko – 51%
    QF3: Madoka – 63%
    QF4: Ika Musume – 51%

MadPanda…(all the sniping and skullduggery, and Madoka still kicked major tail! – gotta go with her!)…

  8. User: ppaaccoojrf
    Captain: Kuroneko

    QF1: Erica 51.50%
    QF2: Kuroneko 52.50%
    QF3: Madoka 58.50%
    QF4: Ika Musume 51.50%

    >that feel when all of your picks are either unrealistic wins or are fighting against each other
Ideally, I want Erica-(any) and Sayaka-Ika Musume, but all of those are unlikely to win. Reallistically, I want Kuroneko to beat Madoka at the finals, since Kyouko probably wouldn’t anyways.

  9. User: Kayuri
    Captain: Mami

    QF1: Lotte – 55%
    QF2: Kyouko – 53%
    QF3: Madoka – 57%
    QF4: Mami – 60%

Expecting to fail miserably percentage-wise, lol.

  10. User: Kaosu
Captain: Undecided (will post in reply before deadline)

    QF1: Lotte 53.52%
    QF2: Kyouko 52.91%
    QF3: Madoka 60.08%
    QF4: Mami 52.97%

  11. Captain: Lotte
QF1: Lotte, by 55.40% of vote
QF2: Kyouko, by 52.10% of vote
QF3: Madoka, by 52.20% of vote
    QF4: Ika-musume, by 57.75% of vote

    1. I’ll be rounding up your Match 1’s percentage to 51% since only winners qualify for the bonus points. (So that your range will be 50%-52% instead of 49.5%-51.5%)

      QF2: Kyouko 51.95%
      QF3: Madoka 59.02%
      QF4: Mami 53.22%

Updated again, taking into account the order of the matches.

    Captain: GODoka (Madoka)

    QF1: Lotte
    QF2: Ruri
    QF3: Madoka
    QF4: Mami

Percentages withholding, will be posted as a reply closer the end of each match.

      1. You can’t guess the percentages in the middle of the match, only before.

Also since you didn’t make the deadline for the initial submission, you will not earn points for today’s match, and your captain choice is void. Sorry about that😦
