Kaichou wa Maid-sama’s Ayuzawa Misaki finished first in the final leg of the Preliminary Rounds of Anime Saimoe Tournament 2011. At second place was Hoshizora he Kakaru Hashi’s Hinata Ibuki, while third place went to Amagami’s Tanamachi Kaoru. Hourou Musokos’ Chiba Saori and Hidamari Sketch’s Sae garnered fourth and fifth place respectively.

Also getting the final tickets for the Main Draw were Fortune Arterial’s Yuuki Haruna, Sora no Woto’s Sorami Konata, Koihime Musou’s Aisha and Touka, Occult Gakuin’s Kumashiro Maya, Rio: Rainbow Gate’s Rio Tachibana, To Aru Majutsu no Index’s Kanzaki Kaori, Koihime, Anyamal Tantei Kiruminzoo’s Mikogami Ruko, Seitokai Yakuindomo’s Tsuda Kotomi, Ao no Exorcist’s Kamiki Izumo and Kami Nomi’s Kasuga Kusunoki.

So yeah, the characters I identified yesterday made up the top few positions in this group, except for Kanzaki. A somewhat comfortable winning for Misaki in the end, considering that the 2nd prelims have been a tight affair most of the time. Also, it seems like Kaoru’s the least popular Amagami SS girl, at least in Saimoe. TWGOK’s Kusonoki was also able to squeak in to the main round.
