Sakurano Kurimu marched toward the Block Finals of Anime Saimoe Tournament 2010, after a comfortable victory over Kanamemo’s Amano Saki. Trailing third in the match was Shakugan no Shana’s Wilhelmina Carmel. Kurimu would next meet Saki’s Amae Koromo and Hanamaru Youchien’s Yamamoto Nanako.
Haramura Nodoka prevailed in the all-Saki Block Semifinals in C, after trouncing Fukuji Mihoko and Kunihiro Hajime. The 2009 semifinalist next meets Kataoka Yuuki, also from Saki and Hayate no Gotoku!’s Maria.

Re: Block C match – Surprising result not on the prediction standpoint, but on how it actually happened. Mihoko just got dominated by Nodoka, and though I picked the latter to win, not by that winning margin. Oh well, either way, this just formalizes the dilemma Saki will have to deal with next round – split votes against Maria. So yeah, that would be something to watch, given that Saki has handled splits before this year.
As for the other match, Kurimu won as expected, though she was in trouble early on. So yeah, Block D finals match is formalized. Can Koromo make it to back to back quarterfinals? Intriguing storyline is intriguing.
But yeah, break time for now, (thankfully), and I need to get some Saimoe-stuff done. Preview for next match to be up tomorrow.
